AllState Auto Insurance Review

Auto insurance is something that every single vehicle owner needs. Not only is it the best defense against liability and huge maintenance costs after an accident, but it is also the law in many states and countries around the world. With insurance, people are able to drive freely and not have to worry about getting sued or paying huge sums of money if they slip up and get into an accident.

There are several insurance companies for car owners to choose from. Most of these companies all try to give their customers the best service that they can offer. All of these companies are very well advertised and give their clients plenty of opportunities to get the best deals they offer. One of these companies is AllState Auto Insurance.

AllState is the second largest insurer in the United States and has been doing business for a very long time. It is also the largest publicly held insurer in the United States. The company was founded in 1931 as part of the very large Sears, Roebuck and Company. In 1993 it started its own advertising campaign and became a spinoff of the original company. Now it is one of the largest financing and insuring companies in the world.

As one of the largest auto insurance providers in the world, Allstate has taken on a lot of customers and partners. Many of them have had very good experiences with the company. Most of the claims that are made are upheld by the company and most people have a very easy time calling and telling the company what their problem is. The customer service is also hailed as being one of the best in the business by policy holders. These points were made some time ago, however.

Now Allstate is actually being called one of the worst companies in the business. The customer service has not changed that much. It does not take very long for somebody to answer the phone when you call and many of the telephone receptionists are native English speakers, making talking to them much easier. People have also said that they rarely get put on hold unless they are being transferred to a different number.

The biggest beef with this company that many people have is that they are often not as cheap as they originally claim. The small teaser rate that people get when they first sign on is often the one that is advertised on television. After this policy has to be renewed, the cost is often raised, sometimes as much as fifty percent.

Not only that, but it has been stated that Allstate does not stay true to their word when it comes to paying claims. Many people have reported that they are given a different amount for their claim than Allstate originally states. Often times things appear to be working out well and then the client will receive a phone call that their insurance will not cover the entire cost. This problem has been reported a lot and is now being looked into.
